About Rasheda
Wife, mother, facilitator, public speaker, author, content creator, community builder, and most importantly a Child of the Most High.
The Growth Industries Story
After 12 years in construction, Rasheda sustained a traumatic brain injury from another's careless act on the job. No longer able to do the work due to chronic headaches, fatigue, and sensitivity to light and sound, Rasheda journeyed on the long road to recovery.
After trying all sorts of therapy, nothing allowed Rasheda to regain what was lost but REST. Using her pain as a catalyst, she turned it into purpose and founded Growth Industries — a place where REST is a strategy for success.
Through public speaking, mindful movement workshops, literature, corporate partnerships, and women's retreats, Rasheda challenges the status quo and shares REST as a revolutionary disruption to the cultural norm of "Do more."
Rasheda Jenkins lives in North Minneapolis, MN with her husband and children. She is dedicated to creating spaces where women can slow down, reconnect with their purpose, and experience the transformative power of REST.
